Blanco Texas, a quiet town with a population under 2000, situated just forty-five miles north of San Antonio along Highway 281. Established in the mid 1800's. It's town square would rival any larger town or city for their holiday decorations in the winter season. In spring, Blanco hosts a popular classic car rally attended by visitors far and wide. In the summer the Lavender festival brings another group of visitors. Blanco also proudly offers the smallest (524 square miles) State park in Texas, where guests can enjoy both sides of the Blanco River. A state of the art Golf Course is nearby as well. Being at somewhat of a crossroads Blanco has easy access to many of the quaint towns of the Texas Hill Country.
